The Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Alessandro Ferranti, presented today his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Vahagn Khachaturyan.
While conveying to President Vahagn Khachaturyan the sentiments of sincere friendship of President Sergio Mattarella, Ambassador Ferranti stated that he assumes his mandate with great enthusiasm and responsibility.
Expressing his gratitude to the Armenian President for the warm welcome, Ambassador Ferranti also assured that he is ready to make every effort to further strengthen and expand the already excellent relations between Italy and Armenia.
President Khachaturyan, expressing his congratulations and best wishes for success to the newly appointed Ambassador, emphasized, for His part, the shared values that largely contributed in shaping the ties between the two Peoples.
Finally, President Khachaturyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to deepening mutually beneficial cooperation with Italy, both at the bilateral level and in the broader European framework, assuring that the Armenian Authorities are ready to support the Ambassador in any initiative aimed at further developing relations between the two Countries, with particular regard to the economic and cultural sectors.
