STUDY VISA

UNIVERSITY – Three-year degree (Laurea)  Master of Science degree (Laurea Magistrale), AFAM (Coursed at Higher Education for Art, Music and Dance Institutions), SSML (High Schools for Linguistic Mediators) – Academic year 2023-24

The application for access to degree courses for international students applying for visas and residing abroad, must take place through a prior university pre-enrollment procedure, which precedes the subsequent enrolment phases.

To apply for a study programs in Italy you need to complete the “Pre-enrolment” application on Universitaly , after having created your online account on the Universitaly portal https://www.universitaly.it/first-steps

Then you should follow the online procedure as indicated in the “Pre-enrolment” application form uploading your qualifications and all the documents required to access the chosen study programme, as previously agreed with the Italian higher education institution of your choice: this is the only procedure available in order to obtain the “Letter of eligibility for enrolment” drafted by the Italian higher education institution, needed to apply for a visa.

Visa applications must be submitted by 30 November 2023 to the TLS VISA CENTER.

The Visa Office has full authority to evaluate and request additional documentation, if deemed necessary, in addition to what is submitted. Furthermore, the applicant is hereby informed that submitting all required documentation does not guarantee the issuance of any particular visa. 

Within the UNIVERSITALY portal there will be all the information for the completion of pre-enrolment applications, aimed at facilitating the access of candidates to university courses and related institutions. The subsequent pre-enrolment phases will be completed at the TLS Visa Center for the purpose of obtaining the relevant visa and submit the request for “dichiarazione di valore” (if it is requested by the University)

 

  • ERASMUS

Documents:

  1. For short stay visas up to 90 days please download and fill in Schengen Visa application form. For long stay visas beyond 90 days please download and fill in Long term application form;
  2. Recent passport-style photo
  3. Passport and photocopies of relevant pages;
  4. Return flight reservations for study programs shorter than 90 days and one way flight reservation for study programs longer than 90 days;
  5. letter of acceptance from the host Institution/School in Italy regalding the invitation to attend the Erasmus programma Erasmus (due copie). The letter has to specify the type of Erasmus program, and the coverage of expences (insurance, lodging, boarding etc.)
  6. copy of the Student/learning agreement duly signed by both parties must be provided.
  7. Photocopy of the Erasmus Program
  8. Letter issued by the University in Armenia (original). The letter should also indicate the address of the University in Italy, program dates and duration. The letter must contain any kind of information regarding the study course that you are following in Armenia (e.i.: your name and last name, enrolment date, type of course, expected graduation date etc.) and it must mention the Erasmus program that you are going to follow in Italy;

 

 

  • COURSE ON ITALIAN LANGUAGE

Italian language and culture courses established by the Universities for Foreigners of Perugia, Siena and Reggio Calabria “Dante Alighieri” .

Documents:

  1. For short stay visas up to 90 days please download and fill in Schengen Visa application form. For long stay visas beyond 90 days please download and fill in Long term application form
  2. Recent passport-style photo
  3. Passport and photocopies of relevant pages;
  4. Return flight reservations for study programs shorter than 90 days and one way flight reservation for study programs longer than 90 days;
  5. letter of acceptance from the host Institution/School in Italy, specifying the type and cost of course, number of weekly hours and dates
  6. Declaration of the availability in Italy of appropriate lodgings. In case the applicant will be staying with friends/family, a letter of invitation is required along with a copy of the host’s ID (“Permit of stay” for non-European Union citizens);
  7. Transcript of previous studies in your Home Country;

  9. Payment receipt (original + copy) of course and lodging.
  10. letter from your insurance company must state that you will be covered for all medical expenses, hospitalization and repatriation for at least 30,000 euro during your stay in Italy.
