The visa fee is based on the “Quarterly Consular Exchange Rate” and changes at the beginning of each quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1).
National Visa (type D)
The expected cost for a National Visa (D Visas, over 90 days) is 116 euros, to be paid in local currency when submitting the application.
For National Study Visas (D Visas, over 90 days), the cost is 50 euros.
Schengen Visas (Type “C”):
The cost of a short-stay visa (C Visas, less than 90 days) for Armenian citizens and citizens from Albania*, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina*, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* (FYROM), Georgia*, Moldova*, Montenegro*, Serbia*, Ukraine*, the latter in case they can prove their legal residence in Armenia, is equal to 35 Euros.
*Only holders of biometric passports/issued in accordance with ICAO rules (Reg. 1806/2018).
For minors aged 0 to 12, the visa is free. For other categories exempt from the visa fee, please refer to Article 6(2) of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia on the facilitation of the issuance of visas.”
For other citizens legally resident in the relevant constituency, the standard cost for issuing a C visa is equal to:
90 euros for adults;
45 euros for minors aged 6 to 12.
The C visa for study is free.
Visas for EU family members are issued free of charge (art. 5 of Legislative Decree 30/2007).
Pursuant to Directive 2004/38/EC, the following are considered family members:
– the spouse,
– the partner who has entered into a registered partnership with the Union citizen on the basis of the legislation of a Member State (if the legislation of the host Member State equates the registered partnership with marriage),
– direct descendants under the age of 21 or dependent, as well as those of the spouse/partner defined above,
– direct dependent ascendants and those of the spouse/partner defined above.
Payment method: The cost of the visa must be paid in local currency (AMD) to be paid when submitting the visa application with the TLS Company.
Cases in which the visa can be refunded: the visa fee will be returned exclusively in the case of inadmissibility of the application, for application submitted beyond the deadlines and lack of the required “documentary minimum”: completed and signed application form, valid travel document (passport) (issued ≤10 years ago, with at least 2 free pages and validity ≥3 months beyond the expected exit date), recent photograph, registration of the applicant’s fingerprints, receipt for payment of the intended consular right, appropriate medical travel insurance (for Schengen stays).
