Operational shutdown of the VIS computer system for the processing and issuance of Entry Visas
Please be informed that from 9:00 pm on 12 February 2026 until 3:00 am on 18 February 2026, the VIS operating system will be subject to a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical intervention that will result in the temporary suspension of activities related to the receipt and processing of visa applications, as well as the issuance of entry visas. This suspension will affect the operations of both the visa office of the Italian Embassy in Yerevan and the visa center managed by the outsourcer TLScontact.
Please be advised that, in order to minimize inconvenience to users, all appointments already scheduled will be rescheduled to the days immediately before or after the period affected by the operational shutdown, giving due consideration to priority needs and urgent cases.
