1. The Declaration of Value is a document of an exclusively informative nature, therefore it does not in itself constitute any form of recognition of the qualification in question; it provides useful information for the subsequent evaluation of the qualification by the Italian authorities competent for the legal recognition of foreign qualifications.
2. The Embassy of Italy in Yerevan may issue Declarations of Value of Armenian qualifications issued by recognized educational institutions (Schools, Colleges and Universities) or professional bodies located in Armenia.
3. Candidates should present the enrolment request directly to the chosen higher education institution, according to the modality, terms and the requested documentation as established by each institution. Students are requested to produce the documentation that the institution deems necessary to acquire for the purposes of evaluating the foreign qualification, with reference to: eventual translations, legalizations, Diploma Supplements, exam certificates, statements from the Italian ENIC-NARIC center (CIMEA), Declaration of Value or other declarations that might serve to check the elements of the foreign qualification. 4. Declarations of Value can be requested for different reasons, mainly including:
- Recognition of studies at all levels in Italy;
- Continuation of academic studies at all levels in Italy;
- Professional recognition in Italy.
5. Those interested in the recognition of qualifications obtained in Italy or elsewhere should contact NARIC.
6. Translations of Armenian qualifications into Italian must be carried out by sworn interpreters and legalized with Apostille.

7. Students are requested to contact TLS Visa Center in order to schedule an appointment and submit the required documents to obtain the Declarations of Value for qualifications issued in Armenia (e.g. Diploma, Bachelor, Master Degree).
List of documents to be submitted:
- passport plus one photocopy;
- application form;
- originals of the academic qualifications, legalized with Apostille;
- originals of the Official Transcripts, legalized with Apostille;
- literal translation into Italian of the documents indicated at paragraph 3 and 4, legalized with Apostille (the Notary will also declare the compliance of the photocopies with the original);
- simple photocopy of documents indicated at paragraph 3, 4 and 5;
- in case the Declaration of Value is requested for study purposes, please provide letter of acceptance issued by University.
Application Form – The application form must be completed in all its parts. If you fail to complete the form your application will automatically be rejected.
ATTENTION: the certificates received by this Embassy for the purpose of obtaining the Declaration of Value will be returned to the applicant once the process has been completed.
Declaration of Value can be requested for already-completed study cycles (e.g. A-level, Bachelor, Master, etc.).
The issuing of the Declaration of Value requires the payment of 21 950 AMD. The exemption from payment applies only in the case of proven study reasons. Please, check the page “Consular fees”
