The test can either be a negative\u00a0anti-genic\u00a0test taken within 48 hours before arrival or a PCR test taken within 72 hours. Tests must be from a certified provider and home test kits are not allowed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition all travelers are required to complete the<a href=\"https:\/\/app.euplf.eu\/#\/\"><strong> digital Passenger Locator Form (PLF)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There was a five-day quarantine period for anyone who was unable to provide both. At the end of the isolation\u00a0a molecular PCR or rapid antigen test must be done.<\/p>\n<p>Please, note that only the vaccine listed below are recognised in Italy as valid proof of vaccination :<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Comirnaty Pfizer-BioNTech by BioNTech Manufacturing GmbH<br \/>&#8211; Spikevax, formerly Moderna by Moderna Biotech Spain, SL<br \/>&#8211; Vaxzvria, formerly AstraZeneca by AstraZeneca Ab<br \/>&#8211; Janssen (Johnson &#038; Johnson) by Janssen \u2013 Cilag International NV<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Certificates are accepted in Italian, English, Spanish or French and can be both digital or in paper copy.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers unable to present a valid vaccination, recovery certificate or negative test result will have to self-isolate on arrival<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"All travellers\u00a0enter Italy from the non-EU need to show either proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative COVID-19 test.
