{"id":3229,"date":"2023-11-02T13:20:35","date_gmt":"2023-11-02T09:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/?page_id=3229"},"modified":"2026-01-19T10:24:02","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T06:24:02","slug":"updates-on-personal-records","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/aire-register-of-italians-resident-abroad\/updates-on-personal-records\/","title":{"rendered":"How to update your A.I.R.E. registration"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">Italian citizen who are already registered in AIRE at this Embassy\u00a0 of Italy must keep their information up to date using the <a href=\"https:\/\/serviziconsolari.esteri.it\/home\">Fast It\u00a0<\/a>portal.<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Citizens are required to inform the Embassy immediately:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">if they change their address;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">if there any changes in their personal circumstances such as marriage, births, divorce, death, etc.;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">if they lose their Italian citizenship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Change of address within this consular jurisdiction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To update your address through Fast It: fill out and upload the form (<a href=\"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/modello_dichiarazione_di_cambio_indirizzo_trasferimento_rimpatrio.doc\"><em>Dichiarazione di cambio di indirizzo\/Trasferimento in altra circoscrizione consolare\/Rimpatrio<\/em><\/a>) and attach a copy of your passport (and those of each individual in the same family unit) as well as proof of their new address (address, apartment number and zip code)<\/p>\n<p>If you fail to update your information, in particular your new address, the Embassy will not be able to get in touch with you, and you will not receive your ballot papers whenever there is an election.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transfer to another foreign country (i.e., to another consular jurisdiction)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An AIRE-registered citizen transferring from Armenia to another foreign country must submit a transfer declaration to the consular office with territorial competence for the new residence through the <a href=\"https:\/\/serviziconsolari.esteri.it\/home\">Fast-It portal<\/a> (within which it is possible to verify the consular office responsible for the new residence locality and where the &#8216;FAQ&#8217; section is also available) within 90 days of the transfer.<\/p>\n<p>If the transfer is not communicated, after 180 days, the citizen may be declared unreachable, resulting in the cancellation of their registry registration by the AIRE registration municipality.<\/p>\n<p>Before departure, it is advisable to send an email to <a href=\"mailto:consolare.jerevan@esteri.it\">consolare.jerevan@esteri.it<\/a> to communicate the transfer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Moving back to Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Italian citizens registered in AIRE who decide to establish or re-establish residency in Italy must notify their\u00a0<em>Comune<\/em> of residence in Italy as soon as possible when they move back within the time limits established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of May 30, 1989, No. 223. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The omission or late submission of the declaration of repatriation is subject to an administrative monetary penalty<\/span>. The <em>Comune<\/em> will proceed with the cancellation from the A.I.R.E. and the simultaneous registration in the A.P.R. (Register of Resident Population), notifying the Embassy upon completion of the procedure. The Embassy will then update its records accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AIRE Cancellation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cancellation happens for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>repatriation (moving back to Italy);<\/li>\n<li>death and presumed death (supported by a death-in-absentia legal declaration);<\/li>\n<li>inability to locate the individual (<em>irreperibilita\u2019 presunta<\/em>) for lack of an up to date address as long as two unsuccessful attempts have been made, or if 100 years have passed since their birth;<\/li>\n<li>loss of Italian citizenship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Italian citizen who are already registered in AIRE at this Embassy\u00a0 of Italy must keep their information up to date using the Fast It\u00a0portal.
