{"id":3059,"date":"2023-11-27T10:02:21","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T06:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/tax-code\/"},"modified":"2026-03-12T09:46:29","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T05:46:29","slug":"tax-code","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/tax-code\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian Tax Code for foreign citizens"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"144\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"42\">FOREIGN CITIZENS NOT RESIDING IN ITALY<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"144\">Foreign citizens can request a Codice Fiscale (Italian tax code) through the following methods:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"146\" data-end=\"920\">\n<li data-start=\"146\" data-end=\"462\">\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"462\"><strong data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"197\">Through the competent Italian consular office<\/strong>:<br data-start=\"198\" data-end=\"201\" \/>To request a Codice Fiscale, the appropriate form must be completed and submitted, along with a copy of an identification document and the reason for the request.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"462\">To make an <strong>appointment<\/strong> and send your request, email: <a href=\"mailto:consolare.jerevan@esteri.it\">consolare.jerevan@esteri.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Documents required on the appointment day:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/codice_fiscale_application_form_aa4-8_-_inglese.pdf\">Request form<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ambjerevan.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/COD-FISCALE_MOTIVAZIONI.docx\">Motivation letter<\/a> with supporting documents.<\/li>\n<li>Passport and a photocopy.<\/li>\n<li>Original birth certificate with photocopy and a simple translation into Italian (it does not have to be notarized).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The tax code will only be issued in paper format.
