REGULATIONS TO BE OBSERVED BY VISITING FOREIGNERS DURING THEIR STAY IN ITALY
- The Visa Office has full authority to evaluate and request additional documentation, if deemed necessary, in addition to what is submitted. Furthermore, the applicant is informed that submitting all required documentation does NOT guarantee the issuance of any particular visa.
- All Documents issued in Armenian language need to be translated into English (including bank statments).
Please, be informed that visa, once processed or issued, can not be changed or prolonged. Applicants are requested to apply again.
There is no reimbursements for visas, even if the visa is denied.
The sole possession of a visa does not give an automatic right of entry to its owner into the Schengen Zone, the travelers could be asked to demonstrate at the border that they meet all the conditions for entry.
According to the art. 331 of the Italian Penal Code, be informed that presentation of false documentation will be reported to the Judicial Authority in Italy.
Please, be informed as follows:
- The Italian Embassy in Armenia is competent for issuing entry visas for short stay (type C) to Italy, Malta and Finland, as well as long-stay visa (type D) to Italy. Only legal residents in Armenia can apply to the Embassy of Italy in Yerevan.
- The applicant will be required to pay an additional fee of 20 Euro (about AMD 11.000) as consideration for the service provided by the TLS, to be paid directly to the external service provider in cash and in local currency (Armenian dram).
- The visa application must be made not earlier than six months from the date of departure and is usually examined within ten calendar days, but it depends on type of visa.
- Only legal residents in Armenia can apply to the Embassy of Italy in Jerevan. The visa application must be submitted in person at TLS VISA CENTER. If the applicant is a minor or an invalid, they should be accompanied by their legal representative. It is prohibited the presentation of a visa application through intermediaries of any kind (travel agencies or other).
- Each applicant must complete and submit a single application form and two recent photographs. Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months upon conclusion of your trip and have at least two blank pages.

The short stay visa application processing fee to Italy, Malta and Finland for Armenian citizens is 35 euros (about AMD 18.950), payable in cash and in local currency (Armenian dram) upon submission of the application for a visa at the TLScontact.
