The Office that follows Italian military cooperation is located in Moscow. It is headed by Brigadier General Masimo Fogari, who is assisted, for relations with the Republic of Armenia, by Navy Captain Alessandro Maria Dionigi.
Each year the best Armenian students have the opportunity of furthering their studies at the military academy is of modern Art and Turing. On June 3, 2014 the minister of defense Roberta Pinotti and Armenian counterpart Seyran Ohanyan met in Brussels and signed a Technical Agreement for the participation of an Armenian contingent in the Italian-led UNIFIL mission in Lebanon. The first Armenian military left for Lebanon on the following November 26.
